This is the model lower than the 791xv model i believe. The 791 came with remote start and this one does not. I was trying to search for some sort of module but i guess the main brain comes with the remote start built in. Is there anything I can do to add it on to my current 690xv alarm? Thanks.

There are Stand Alone Remote Starts that only Require a Negative Pulse to Activate from your 690

Any idea where i might be able to find a decent one? Is there any with neutral safety switches?

I take it you have a manual transmission. If you want a remote start, swap the unit out for an alarm/remote all-in-one unit designed for a manual transmission. It is the only safe way to do it. Look into Compustar.

The thing is thats not really cost effective, its a manual transmission but its an older car (84) and you dont need to put in the clutch to start the car.
