2003 impala remote start

i have a 2003 chevy impala with a remote start my question is when i used the the interface my security light will not go off can some one tell me how to make this light go off. another problem i am having is when i lock my doors they unlock. the negitive lock and unlock wires both go to the blk/orange wire in bcm. the last thing is that can some one tell me that step by sted way to make my service engine light go off. i have tried and tried and still can not get it to go off. i have diodes and resistors but do not know exactly how to use them.

What ByPass are you using?
Is it powered up during & after cranking?
Are you Powering the Dark GREEN Ignition wire during & after cranking?

Power Lock	ORANGE / BLACK	AT SWITCH IN**
Power Unlock	SAME WIRE	DRIVERS DOOR

** Lock Requires A 480 Ohm Resistor

i understand that but how am i supposed to to use the 480 resistor

  You hook your UNLOCK wire to the ORANGE / Black wire
You hook your LOCK wire & the 480 Resistor ( inline ) to the ORANGE / Black wire..............NEXT

I am using a 475 gw interface modue i ahve three wires coining off one side  a pink, pink/blk, yellow wire. the yellow wht/ wire is not used. I cut the yellow passlock wire and ignition side got the pink , passlock got the pink/blk. am i supposed to do something witht the blk passlock wire i can not get the security light to go off. can someone please help me i am going crazy.

if you're using a 457G you should not have cut any wires at the ignition harness, you should not have to even use that 3 pin harness with the 457G. That unit bypass's passlock through the databus.

    ok fellows myproblem is becoming more serious, for starters saomething is starting to drain my car battery this porblem occcured the other day when i was playin aroud with the regular alam pad. i took extreem's addvise and put the wires in the passlock back toether. and  now the rmote will not  not start  the car.

If you mean 457GW:
NO WIRES need be cut at Ignition Switch.
It is a DATA type connection at the OBDll Plug...........Violet Wire

READ YOUR INSTRUCTIONS.............
If you don't understand, get it to a 12 volt SHOP that knows.........Before you cause damage to your vehicle

 ok i have all the wires hook up correctly. for some reason my remote start stoped starting. i replaced a fuse in the remote start realys but i will not start anymore in remote start up. everything flashes doors lock but the motor does not crank. i noticed that for somereason more on the lcd screen the icon that lets u know when the car start comes on even before the motor is runnin. when it was working correctly i always came on after the engine was running. the regular transmitter is not working either. i made sure the care was not in alet mode and reselt the defult settings is ther any thing else i sould look at.

  i installed a sytek remote start in my 2003 chevy impala it was remote starting for a while and then all of a sudden it did not start anymore. i checked all the wires and  and made sure that all of them were installed correctly. there are no blown fuses i ma thinkin it has some thing to do with the inter face module  i have the purple wire going to the ob II adn all the wires r grounded and powered up the the wires from the interface r not used and the passlock wires r not used something is not allowing the car to crank in remote start. when the problem first started the car would stay on in quick stop remote function but now it does not even do that. i checked to make sure that he car was in valet mode adn i reset it to defult settings. before the problems started the key pad light contiuously flashed does any one have any suggestions

You may want to try reprogramming the unit for tach or voltage.
