Does anyone know the color of the passlock II wires on a 2006 Silverado, and don't tell me they are yellow, ORANGE / black, and RED / white and that they are on a harness by themeselves, because I don't see those three colors together anywhere. If someone does know can you help me out by telling me what they changed to Yellow- ORANGE / black- RED / white-

O.K. I won't tell you that the YELLOW wire & the BLACK wire are located in the MAIN Plug coming from the Ignition Switch at the base of the Steering column, behind the metal shroud that has 4 10 mm nuts holding it on. These wires are on the left of the MAIN Plug METER THEM FIRST.............The Starter wire is YELLOW also ------------- MO

They have been yellow, black and RED / white since 2003. They are right next to each other at the junction plug behind the metal shroud.

Also, kind of in the same spot on the harness, you should see a tan and a light green--------- light green is keysense, tan is the ground wire that feeds the keysense switch.

Thank you all, I finally found the wires I needed. And the reason I was having trouble finding them is not because I am the dumbest person in the world, it was because the yellow wire looks closer to a white than to a yellow.

Just a thought, were you using a regular flashlight to look for them? Wonder if an LED flashlight would provide more contrast for the yellow and make it easier to pick out, with the light being bluer than an incandescent light-
