hye i am wanting to buy a car alarm for my 1983 celica but im not sure weather i need central locking to have a car alarm cuz in all the car alarms i look at thay say stuff bout central locking this is ont of the ones i am looking at

no i dont have power door locks i ts just the standard key entry no centeral locking or remote so will it still work? because i thought you would have to have central locking for the alarm to sence the doors opening or what eva im not sure i dont know any thing about this sort of stuff
