Hey Guys,

Just completed a remote start install on a 2002 Sunfire. Just a couple of quick questions:

1) when the vehicle is remote started, the theft light and service light both remain on even after key takeover. I am using a GMDLBP module for the passlock 2.

2) I've also powered up the second accessory wire (brown) - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I think I will try to re-program the bypass module.

there is only 1 ignition, GMDLBP is not recommended for that vehicle.

GMBP is different.

thanks for the replies, mo12,yes i did program the bypass, the vehicle does not have pwer locks, and yes i hooked up the data line.there is no ignition 2 on this vehicle, but thanks again for the reply. extreme1,even though the paper work on the gmdlbp says it's compatable with this vehicle, i think you are right, because i ended up putting in a pl2004 module and that cleared everything up.

again thank you for your help
