I'm getting the Viper 791XV and I'm looking to install it in my 1991 honda accord, I want to have remote start but I have a stick... and no installer will install it for me.
So my question is, does anyone know of any tutorials or manuals of how to install it myself? I always put it in nuetral and pull my e-brake, so I know I wont jerk my car when I go to start it.

Also, how hard is it to install the Viper 791XV, and DEI 530T, because I dont know if I wanna pay $100-200 to have it installed for me if I can just do it myself

Get in contact with one of the many canadian viper retailers on this board and ask to order up a Viper 689M moduel, im told approx $50 canadian, so with shipping your looking at $50 US most likely.

As far as installing difficulty, this is one thing I CAN speak with some intelligence about! I just installed a Clifford Matrix 10.5 in my 2001 Dakota.  It could've been done much faster by an installer, but I did it and it works, so I am happy.  As long as you have a vehicle wiring diagram, and the ability to locate and tap wire, you should be able to do it.

IMO, anyone can do that. I say if you dont have any patience, dont even try installing this yourself. The actual install shouldnt really take that long, prepping the alarm is whats time consuming.

I bought my alarm from Car Toys, then got all the extra stuff (sensors, interior siren, backup battery, etc) off ebay for really cheap.

thank you everyone for you imput so far
I hooked up remote start yesterday, and all my problems went away, and teh remote start works great :), and I even figured out how to bypass the clutch, I just unhooked the w1 wires and used another wire to bridge teh connection then put some tape on it to hold it :)

if anyone has any Q's on doing this install on 90-93 accords, leme know, I'm sure it'll be the same as mine

All I have left to do is hooking up the window modulator on my next free day :)
