Hey I just installed a 2016 fm for my first. Wow what a bundle of wires. Do you have a wiring color chart for your vehicle? That made mine a little more managble.  I'm still working out the remote start part. It just cranks and won't keep running. So you did the starter kill? My advise on looking back... plan it to death. Cut your wires to a manageble length when it comes to tidying up and bundle them as you go.  Do you have to add the actuators for your doorlocks or do you have auto locks already?

Cheers

i have the color code chart for the vehicle. i did the starter kill too. tidying up is not a problem either. the bmw locks are weird you know the lil pin that you press to lock by the windows.......so when you press one in or press down on it both sides go down so its locked when you want to unlock them you would pull the door handles and both the doors would unlock. now im just trying to figure out if i have to put a relay on the lock and unlock. can any one figure this out.

o about your crank starter problem. is your car hard to start. if it is try running the brain in tach mode that might help.

The alarm plug is a black 12 pin plug located just behind the glove box. It is mounted with the pins facing you atop a vent just to the left of the body computer. Do not use the power sources at the alarm plug to operate high-current devices.

The door lock wire is (+) WHITE/ RED and Unlock is BLUE/RED (+).

northshoretech: If the vehicle just cranks and no start, you may have to use a bypass module and it has to be programmed properly to the vehicle as well. What make, model & year is it ?

Hey Velocity I have an 05' sivarado p-up model WT. I have the pk3 module but I think my data output is on the wrong wire. The lit. said to use pin two of the ODB connector.  The wiring color chart said lt. grn at the door kick panel. I used the ODB and it strarts and dies./ no mater what crank time I use. I have the tack wired in but I am using tachless currently.  I think I'll have more time to play with it later in the week.  Also the cs guys are pretty good about answering your ?'s I still need to try them too...The reason I didn't use the lt. grn wire was that there were three or four lt grn wires,ARGH!!!  Is there a way to meter the disarm wire for the factory alarm?
