Does anyone know if there is a better manual for the dei bitwriter than the one that comes with the unit? The one that comes with it sucks!

I WAS WONDERING THE SAME THING.... A bITWRITER IS PRETTY SIMPLE TO USE

if you mean to learn new remotes... you dont....

if you mean to select the menu items and make them relative to a specific remote then you arm or disarm the unit to differentiate each remote, then go thru the menus setting up your features and "write" those features to remote 1 then do the same to change features for remote 2.... if  you want the same features programmed for all remotes just select remote 0

and if you are doing a 771, or 791 you have to arm and disarm the alarm befor trying to use the bitwriter for anything besause it does not see the remote in the brain from the factory.
