What do you guys use to raise a screen, speaker assembly, etc? Some sort of small electric/pneumatic actuator? Can you provide me with some links to manufacturers? Thanks!

if you are just doing a screen you can fab up a rail for the screen to slide up and down on, or left and right. and use power antanna for the moter. this method works very well, and they are a hell of a lot cheaper that acuators.

electric seat motors are another option. These can be had from many vehicle dismantlers/breakers

another thing i have done is taken power window moters with the tracks then fabed the bracked to be stright and use the teeth in the motor gear, that is strong as hell.
