I am getting ready to hook up a pager alarm rs to my 95 dodge neon. I need a little help hooking up the door locks. There are 2 wires coming out of the brain lock and un lock, these can be switched to a neg or a pos. It saysit has onboard relays. Question is, exactly which wires do i connect them to?? Josh

you have five wire door locks there are located in the boot between the door and car., or possible in the drivers kick panel. the colors are lock ORANGE / purple unlock pink/purple. ------------- Jon

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Its just like djfearny2 said, you have to get them coming into the car from the boot. They are a pain is the a$$ to get to, actually I had to make my connections and tape them with one hand, so have fun.

Wire Alternating 12 Volts Positive Door Locks | Like the configuration above, the switch, when moved in either direction, applies both power and ground directly to motor legs without the use of any relays. Except, at the switch in this case, both motor legs rest at ground . Therefore it is only necessary to change the polarity of one motor leg to lock or unlock the vehicle. |

The relay diagram above is set up for negative input. Pin 86 on the relay on the left reads: to alarm (-) unlock output, and pin 85 on the right reads: to alarm (-) lock output.

OK guys here's the scoop I finally got the alarm working, and the remote start working after 10 hrs of work. LOL... I still need some help on the door locks. I am going to have to use relays afterall. I see the above diagrams on how to hook em up. My question is exactly where do you make the connections. It looks like on the diagram you have to do it between the switch and the actuator, and then cut the wire between the connections. Is this right? Help me please!!

You have to cut the wires and be able to decifer which side of the wire is coming from the door (this is the switch side) and which goes to the motor. ------------- J Rilla
