I have a Stingpro DX-710 in my Pontiac Grand Prix GT and I'm having a problem with the car starting. Some times the car will start fine and then the starter will engage but then shut right off with out cranking the car. I did ajust the cranking time but that did not solve the problem just cranked the car over longer when it does deside to work. Any ideas what might be going on?

Bad Ignition connections or possible bad isolation of mulitple relays performing like tasks? Testing with your meter should yield results if you installed this yourself.

Did you check to make sure that you have the correct tach signal or correct injector wire/program on either or?

Sound Pressure

You know you have the right amount of pressure when your eyes start to water! Now you've got Juice!

I think the tach is ok, I did the tach self test in the directions and it can back ok . As for the contections I think they could be better but I went to radio shack and couldnt find connectors that would connect the big wires in the cars system to the smaller remote starter wires. Does anyone know a web site where I could get some good connectors that are good for the job, I live in the sticks and the only installer arround here wont sell his stuff because he wants to put the stuff in for a large fee.

Solder the connections.... don't use the T-taps for these connections. They are important adn you don't want them to fail you or become loose.

TACHOMETER------------white--------------pin 8, conn. 2 @ PCM ( The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is in the air cleaner assembly.)
