Does alarm, which is bought and installed by the car owner, have manufacture factory warranty.

Please help me with this information. I am trying to buy an alarm and install it by myself. But I want to know if I can return it to the factory, if it malfunctions in the future.

that would depend on the alarm you buy... i know that DEI products have no warranty if self-installed.....

I wouldn't honor Warranty if Installed on a Customers car .... removed by someone else & installed by that person on thier Vehicle........

But you should check with Alarm Manufacturer prior to Install..........Some won't & some will
