anyone hook up an aux. channel to trigger the headlights on a 2003 accord? i got the info from dei , but you cant trigger the lights when the car is off with the neg. headlight wire coming from the switch. so im just curious if anyone has found the relay.(im getting the info on monday from honda, but im just bored right now.)

I have the same car, but unfortunately haven't done anything w/ controlling the headlights, just the parking lights; however, since I am looking at the system wiring diagrams from Honda right now, I can at least point you in the right direction.
The low beam head-light relay is located in the underhood fuse relay box which is located on the left rear corner of the engine compartment, forward of the strut tower. There are two output wires for the low beams, one for the left which is RED / Yellow and one for the right which is RED / Green. The control block and the high and low beam headlight relays say they are hot at all times; however, if you have any issues working with the existing factory relay, you could just ignore the factory relay and work w/ the two headlight wires directly. I'm not sure how much current the aux output on the DEI unit you have provides, but if the manual says its only putting out like 400mA or so, you'll need to use a relay. Connect either the aux output if you don't need the relay or the output of the relay if you did to the two headlight wires. Make sure you diode isolate your connections to the two headlight wires so that they continue to work independantly of one another.

are you trying to get the headlights to come on when you arm or disarm the vehicle or are you trying to turn them on when you are say like remote starting
wouldn't this help you out

trying to get them to turn on when arming or disarming, the wire at the column doesnt work when the car is off, thats the problem. the column wire works fine when the car is on.
