hi!

Im just wondering if someone knows how to wire the Key Sense wire on this car.  On the wiring diagram it says that the Key Sense wire need to see a negative during start, so do i just connect the negative starter wire from my remote starter module to the Key Sense wire then. if anyone can please tell me if im doing it right or if you can tell me the right way of doing it.

Thanks!!

You don't have to hook that wire up,

usually you only hook up the keysense wire up to say like a universal bypass module cause the wire that gets wrapped around the tumbler might cause some interference with the key in the bypass module and the key in the ignition

I have never had too hook up that wire yet,

someone should have a little clearer of a explanation of the reason why you might need it

I gues you havn't done any 2000 and up saturn S and L series yet then.

All of these cars need keysense hooked up to keep the service light off.

thanks for the reply guys. Im putting in a Compustar remote starter. I've done older saturns and I've never came accross this Key Sense wire. I've seen them on other vehicles but not on the newer saturns.  I dont have a problem with the Passlock2 in this car. Its just this one wire im not really sure about.

if you're using a compustar you will need to split the black status out with 2 diodes, one will go to your passlock module and the other to the keysense wire.
