I have a PATS Chrysler 04 bypass module I want to install in a 2005 Caravan.  The loop  that wraps around the key cylinder, is  there a specific way to do it.  Do you place the loop over  the key cylinder and wrap the loose end around five times, or do you hang the loop over and wrap one side clockwise and the other side counter clockwise until all the slack is taken up.  The reason I ask is because I installed a remote start on a 2002 Dodge Dakota and I couldn't program it.  My wiring was all correct, but the way I wrapped the transponder around the key was incorrect.  I remember the transponder had to be wrapped a different way and then it would accept programming and the remote start would work.

Thanks Brock

the transponder ring has to be put infront of the factory immobilizer ring, this means as close to the end as possible

just wrap it as tight as possible, maybe put a bit of tape on it, and then put the steering shroud back on and it will stay
