Hello there.
 
I was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me what the following features actually do. I have a very limited knowledge within this field and any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
These are taken from the Cobra 3993 Security System.
 
Ultra sonic sensors
Input for optional sensors
Panic facility
Universal central locking output
Vehicle immobilizing
Visual arm and disarm indication
Anti hijack facility
Single push button override key pad

panic button- if you push and hold for 3 seconds, alarm will sound

Vehicle immobilizing- starter disable

Visual arm and disarm indication- most units will flash the parking lights

Anti hijack facility- if the car is started and the drivers door is opened, you will have to follow steps tp "reset" the alarm or it will start sounding about a mintue after the door is opened.


Input for optional sensors- most units have plugs that sensor will just plug into...also known as "plug and play"

Universal central locking output- built in door lock outputs for most door locking systems.
