I have a 97 ford escort. I also have a Radiostar Kingeagle(ebay bad idea, I know) alarm. Now my question is While tring to hook up the keyless entry I dont knw what to hook up to what. My car has only one power lock. I think it is stock. I have a Ford remote for it. So in other words, only my driver door has a power lock. I do not have any lock/unlock buttons inside the car. I removed my door pannel. I found the power lock. It has only 2 wares comming from it. If eather is broke The remoe will not work. Some how I need to connect the 6 wires comming from my car alarm to these 2 wires in thte door. I think. Do I need to add relays or is there dome way I can gust connect the wires to make it work? If I do need relays, what kind should I buy? and where are the sold?

There are 6 wires that come from the alarm. They are labled door locks. THe user guide has about 10 different combinations to hook them up to the locks. 2 of the wires are labeled 12v constant. the other 4 are not labeled anything.

does this mean because I have 6 wires comming from the alarm, that I need to buy 2 relays? And how can I tell If my locks are positively triggered or negatively?

If you have NO SWITCH on the door for lock/unlock, you need to install an actuator in each door....The lock system in this car is controlled by the factory remote ONLY....I know of no way around this problem, other than to add actuators. And yes, the unit has built in relays. (2) N.O. N.C. common 87 87a 30 -------------

I figured it out last night. My car has a 4 in one relay system under the dash. I grounded 2 of the wires from the alarm and connected the other 2 to the lock and unlock wires on the built in relay and it worked. I had to rip out half of my dash to get to the damn thing. But this is a learning experence. I have never put in an alarm before, so I may be posting more stupid questions. thanks for the advice.
