Ok I have a 2003 mustang and I installed a clifford matrix rs3. The install went fine and everything seems to work except everytime I try to lock the doors using the lock switch on the door it blows a fuse.    When I use the alarm fob the doors lock and unlock fine, and when I use the orginal keyless entry fob the door lock and unlock. It's just when you use the internal locking switch. Does anyone have any ideas?

I taped into the wires at the gem module lt green(lock) & purple(unlock). Would it make a difference at what point I taped into the wires? I did it just below where the harness connects into the gem.

im just wondering if you taped into the switch but changed over a wire, it sounds like the alarm is resting a different polarity, and when you activate the switch the oposite polarity is on the same wire and then it is shorting out, this is what seems to be happening.
