hey guys im hooking up a crimestoppers cs-2004dc, my question is which is the door locks in the 02 dodge ram
positive trigger
negative trigger
reverse polarity

Lock requires a negative trigger thru a 820 ohm resistor. Unlock requires a negative trigger thru a 330 ohm resistor. MUST use relays.

if the alarms says onboard relay for the locks do i still need one

NO..........Hook it up for NEGATIVE Pulse..........But you will either need the correct Resistors or a Resistor Interface like the
OMEGA DLR-U

or OMEGA

Chrysler Doorlock interface & Immobilizer Interface/Bypass (DB-CHDL3P)

okay one more thing my radio shack has the 1/2watt 330 resistor but only has up to a 680, is there a alternative like i read you could use a 330ohm or 1.4k ohm is there one for the 820?
