Red goes to 12v+ constant, blue goes to the (-) status output from the remote start brain, antenna ring goes around the key cylinder.

Negative,05gt...the 555U does not have a ground wire...the 556Udoes. The only black wiring from the 555U is the antenna ring, and you'd be in trouble if you grounded that.

I am trying to install the 555u and it has 3 wire plus the ring wire. It has a Red, White, and Blue wire. I am not sure what all wires do or where they go to.

Anyone know what the white wire does. Top of page says red is 12v and blue is negitive on status output from the remote start brain.

Please help, thanks

The white wire is a keysense wire so the box turns off when the key is inserted into the ignition. Its not nessasary on most vehicles.

Negative...the white wire isn't a keysense, it's a normally closed wire used on alternate interfaces on European vehicles. They didn't start doing keysenses till the 556U came out.
The red's constant 12v+ and the blue's the (-) status output from the r/s brain.

The device works just like it should.
