I have a 2001 Ford Explorer with a command start remote starter installed.  For some reason when I go to remote start the car the theft light flashes and it doesn't turn over.  I looked under the dash for a anti-theft bypass.  I found the ring around the ignition followed that to a relay with a key attached, but I have yet to find the module.  I took the key out and programed it with the original thinking that was the problem.  So, now that the key is programmed I set it back up just like I found it, but it still won't start.  When I put the key in the ignition and press the button it works so I am confused to if I still have the anti-theft bypass installed.  If anyone can help me that would be much appreciated.

Your off to a good Start.......
That is the OLD way or CHEAP way of installing a ByPASS...........
Make sure you have the wire wrapped around the Head of the Key at least 5 times.  Make sure the Relay Powers Up during & after Cranking.........
