Years ago I wired up keyless entry and I was a real rookie with relays, and I still am... this site is teaching me alot though and now I question my previous install... I have 2 aftermarket poppers, and I used 4 relays one for each action of each popper.... since i dont need them operated individually, I only need 2 relays, correct?

If the "Poppers" are just a Release and you want to do 2 Doors one at a time then 2 SPDT Relays is what you need. If you want to "Pop" 2 Doors at the same time then 1 SPDT Relay is all you need.
But if these are Release & Latch then you will need 4 Relays

If you want each door to Lock & Unlock seperatly, you will need 4 Relays. If you want doors to Lock & Unlock together you will need 2 SPDT Relays and wire as 5 wire Reversal Rest at Ground OR 3 Relays for both & Driver Priority ------------- MO

5 wire reversal: LOCK: one Relay will supply Power to Lock and the other Relay will stay at rest & supply Ground. When you Unlock it reverses ------------- MO
