Had a strange problem today with my compustar, went to start it after work and it wouldnt start, so i got home, checked the wiring, no obvious problems, it would lock and unlock but thats it, no siren, no light flash, i tried reprogramming the remote and now it works fine, had to hit the tach button too to get the remote starter to work correctly again. What would cause something like this? Its a 2w8000fm-as in a 1998 eagle talon turbo, have had it in there about a year now without any problems.

Have had this problem with a few of the systems. Ghost in the system is what I blame it on. No real reason for it to loose the programing and it wasn't in valet mode either so not sure what the problem was.

Depends on the antenna you have... The CM3000 brain is used in several computar models, including the 2WSS-AS, 2W900FM-AS, 2WFM-AS, etc...

Now look at the antenna you have in your vehicle, on the label it will tell you if its the SS, 900Mhz or 433Mhz model. From there, just call a dealer and order the approperiate remote.

Happy Holidays!
