Anyone know where to pick up the park/neutral status wire on a 92 BMW 525i? I really want to avoid pulling the whole center console out, as this is the last wire I have to deal with before buttoning this thing up.

In all likelihood that car doesn't have a park/neutral status wire; if it's an automatic you shouldn't have to worry about it as it has a safety switch on the transmission that prevents it from cranking in gear, and you can just ground that wire.
