I've got a few questions for you guys, i have a 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe 4WD 4 Door LT Package it has Automatic Locks with a Remote and that's it i was wondering what would be a good 2 Way Alarm/Remote Starter to buy for it, i was looking at either the Autopage RS-855 or the Ungo SR6000 some opinions would be appreciated.

Question number two is what do i need to bypass the factory remote door lock system if anything ???

Thanks Everyone for your help

I would definitely recommend the Autopage systems. They make a good product. I've used three different Autopage models and they've all been very solid. As I understand it, Ungo makes a solid product, too. I don't think you could go wrong with either brand.

As for a keyless entry bypass, you wouldn't need one. It looks like you don't need an immobilizer bypass, either. You do need to connect the 2nd ignition wire and you may or may not have a 3rd ignition wire. It also looks like your 4 door model is easier to wire for the door locks than the 2 door model.

Looks like a straightforward install. I say go for it.
