I am wanting to install a remote start on my 1998 A4, it is a 5 spd.  Reading through these forums i found out that i can install it, but the audi has something that i havent seen on any other manual.  On my civic and my moms triumph, you can start the car in neutral without pushing in the clutch.  In the A4, the clutch must be in weather in neutral or not or it will not turn over. Is there any way to bypass this or something?  Thanks.

just have to bypass clutch with a relay, but make sure you buy a remote starter that is designed for a manual transmission IE: Compustar
