Hi.
Bestbuy installed remote stater in my 97 lexus ES300.The prob. is:
When the engine off, restart engine:OK(Alarm don't go off)
But I restart engine about 1 or 2 hrs later,the alarm go off.What possible wrong so I can talk to Bestbuy.

probably interference with the factory alarm/keyless, just take it back to them and have it fixed

yea they need to connect the factory rearm wire to the factory alarm wire.....also u could just unlock then relock and see if that fixes....(before u remote start the next time.....but like the other guy said...i would take it back and have someone fix it......less of a headache for u.

Look there's a surprise a bestbuy installer forgot to hook up the disarm/rearm wires......... I can't count the number of times I've dealt with this little number. Take it back to them and have them hook the wires up. After all the install is lifetime warranty.
