Hey everybody, working on a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire w/Passlock 1 and having a bit of bypass trouble. I haven't done passlock 1 in a while and don't have the regular Yellow and ORANGE / Black, wires as with Passlock 2.

In the DEI bypass manual (555L) it says that I need to connect the wires the same as passlock 2 (plus the bulb check wire), but I have a three wire ribbon harness coming from the ignition cylinder that only has two black wires and a BLACK/ white wire. Does anyone know if I need the bypass or not and if so, what wires do I use in this harness?
Vehicle has absolutely no options and no chip in the key but has a theft light in the instrument cluster and a manual transmission.

The next morning at work I figured it out when I looked at the Directechs page I printed off the day before...I was just too blind to see the note at the bottom of the page that said " If your passlock wires are all black........"
I guess next time I'll read the fine print!
