Hello all, it is my first post here. i was referred here from a guy on another message forum (fordtruckenthusiasts). the people here seem to be very knowledgeable, and he said that here i could get DEI vehicle-specific install sheets.

i just bought a NIB Viper 791xv alarm/auto start off ebay. i will be installing it myself, on a 2002 F-350 automatic diesel 7.3. it is Lariat trim, which means it has all the bells and whistles. could someone please help me out, by showing me the specific install sheets for this model? i want to get this correct the first time, and i dont want to have alot of headaches with wiring. the guy that got help from this site, said that the instructions included will get you into a big mess, that other instructions would be a necessity if you dont know what you are getting into- exactly my case.

thanks alot! :)

Do a SEARCH here on this Forum for related issues on Ford Diesel & the 791xv.................I think there are Installers that DO NOT use the Timer listed below in Form 1091.............

wow, thanks for the quick reply. i have been searching, to no avail. what are some major chain stores that would install this for me, and how much do they normally charge? less than $100?

Try your LOCAL 12 Volt store............Not necessarily a CHAIN Store

Also look down in the bottom left of this Forum under "General Info" & " Find an Installer ".........That may help .......

Seeing that you bought a DEI system from eBay, you no longer have warranty so just be prepard to be quoted a pretty high price. For this vehicle I would charge about $ 200.00 to install this system as long as you have all the necessary modules & harnesses.
