First time doing one of these. I tried to measure resistance between the white and the WHITE/ black at the four pin plug at the ignition switch - during start, but I come up with nothing. I am showing continuity at rest but nothing when I turn the key. I tried several meters. Where am I going wrong?

Did you cut the WHITE / Black wire in half and hook one side of Meter to Ignition side of cut WHITE / Black wire & the other side of Meter to WHITE wire?? Hold Ignition Key to the CRANK position even after it stops cranking.....
Money well spent for the OMEGA IB-PLXR ByPASS..........

I actually did not cut the wire. I just measured them the way they were. I guess that must explain it?

Get your hands on a module part number PKG 7. It is shown on bypasskit.com. It will look after the start functions as well as the transponder system. It is simple and it works.

I agree with Sparkie get yourself a module, makes life easier. But I thought you only need the pkg7 if there is a cross on the key,if no cross the plxr should do you fine.
