Howdy team, just wondering how I would go about installing an alarm in a car with a turbo timer. Ive put a few alarms in before, but none with turbo timers. The alarm is a Fusion F-2000. If the "arm" button is pressed while the engine is running all it does is lock all the doors and enter anti-hijacking mode (or something like that), so obviously if I try arming the alarm while the turbo timer is still counting down thats what it does...doesnt actually arm the alarm.

Whats the usual way of getting around this?

Cheers

It all depends on what happens with the channel outputs when you arm the alarm. If they remain active when you arm the alarm then you can make a turbo timer accessory. If (like most) they shut down when you arm the alarm then you can't.

Clifford can definately power a turbo timer accessory. Not sure about the other DEI range though.
