Hellow everyone, Can someone help me find 2nd ignition wire on this car. I'm trying to install Compustar 2WSS-AS. I tried connecting 2nd ignition to 10gauge white from ignition harness, but car didn¡¯t stay on. I unhooked the 10 gauge white and car stays on, but now I got engine check light on. Wire diagram indicates white from ignition harness, but can¡¯t find any other white wire. One 16 gauge white I found was for emergency blinker. Can someone tell me how to find the 2nd ignition wire and how to reset the check engine light. Thank you, ------------- From Luke

It is the 10g white, you were correct. The two ignitions are pink and white. If it's not starting there's another reason....

The first and second ignition wire as well as the starter and accessory wire come off the ignition switch and end at a plug on the backside of the driver's side fuse box.

Make sure you use the 2nd IGN wire off the CN2 harness to engage the relay so the relay ( connect to PURPLE WIRE off IGN relay ) will stay on when cranking.

Hi, does that mean starter wire is not 10 gauge yellow that goes into box by the break paddle? Here are the wire connections for cn1 & cn2 12V to 10gauage Red & RED / White at IG that goes into box by the break paddle. Starter to 10gauage Yellow at IG that goes into box by the break paddle. Accessory to 10gauage Orange at IG that goes to fues box by driver side door. Ignition to 10gauage Pink at IG that goes to fues box by driver side door. Ignition2 to 10gauage White at IG that goes to fues box by driver side door and connected status out from RS to IG2 relay (purple wire) Are these connections right? at this setup car don't start, starter motor runs but don't start. If I undo the 10gauge White, then car starts but check engine light comes on. ------------- From Luke

I don't know the Comp product, but you are right on the vehicle wire colors. Red and RED / white 12v, pink and white ign, yellow start, orange accessory. I personally always use a relay and energize the second accessory, which is brown, but it's not needed.

Yeah you are right. I was having a brain fart. The yellow starter wire doesn't go to the back of the fuse box, but it goes into the large connector plug at the base of the steering colum.

Thanks guys, I found the problem. It was status output from RS that connects to 2nd IG relay. I'm getting constant 12V from that pin. So, I connected accessory out to 2nd IG and RS works. I will need to return the RS for replacement. Thanks for all your inputs.
