So some of you might have helped me in the previous thread where my remote start was not working.  Well, come to find out the issue was a fuse under the dash that I had forgot about on one of the power wires.  During that whole fiasco the door locks were working fine, now, after i put the new fuse in, they don't work anymore.  This module has some sort of dual lock output (+ / -) and you insert a diode on each wire depeding on if you have + or - trigger locks.  I have + trigger and when I hit a momentary +12V on the line at the alarm module they lock and unlock fine, the alarm is now not outputting any power to the door locks.  I already have an RMA number for this brain and I might just send it in if I can't come up with anything by the end of the day.

Thanks in advance,

Tom

Do you here the unit clicking when you press the lock/un-lock on the remote? If not,you should double check the antenna plug,if it is clicking then test the door lock output wires with a meter,if no output then send back to Crimestopper.Your car calls for positive doorlocks so double check those doides to.

I hear the unit clicking, but I think the clicking I hear is from the parking light relay, I can't tell for sure since they should happen at about the same time.  I know the diodes are okay b/c I can unplug the door lock harness at the alarm module and hit 12V to the lines and the locks work fine.  I put a meter right on the pins inside the connector at the module and there is no 12V or a Ground signal being sent to the plug.  Also, the center red wire that should have 12 V for external relays (which is not in use in this application) has no power to it either, but I'm not sure if that's hot all the time or only when using the door locks.

Thanks,

Tom
