I am looking for help with my Dodge 2500 Diesel that has a Viper 550esp remote start and alarm installed. All the sudden my blower motor does not work for the truck unless it is started with the remote, and as soon as i tap the break to put it in gear the blower motor shuts off. The alarm has beeen installed for about 2 years and the place that installed it is out of business. the fuses for the truck all seem good. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check the ignition harness wires...it sounds like the power wire for the blower motor may be broken at the point where the remote starter's wire to it is connected.

Its possible that an ignition fuse has blown. Your remote start will power the accessory through its own fuse. Once you step on the brake it shuts off the accessory relay, thus removing power. If your factory fuse is blown then your blower will shut off.

Thanks for the replies. It is deffinitly in the alarm wiring because i t appeared that the harness to the alarm box was loose. when i plugged it back in every thing started to work.. It is a nightmare under there. I might have another shop redo the wiring. thanks again for the help.
