Recently installed 125xv with a 555l in a 98 cavalier.  It need bulb check and the whole nines.  It worked fine when it left the bay, passlock learned fine started with remote start and the key.  I was phoned today and told the key will not start the vehicle but the remote start works and starts it fine.  I know this is somthing i have overlooked so i hope some one can call out my issue here!  much appreciated

how did you supply ground during crank to the 555? if you used the crank postive and converted it with a relay you need to use keysense to disengage the relay...... also, make sure to d isolate this wire so it doesnt chime all the time....

You used the -ve start output on the 125 for the -crank input to the 555L, right?   Didn't we go over this on Tues. when you asked??

If you used a starter disable relay/anti grind check the relay to see if it's faulty. Had this happen to me yesterday with a customer too and I replaced the relay and all was good again to start witht he key.

Not sure about this model but if its just a remote start with the starter kill/anti grind built in to the relay pack, and no keyless hooked up. The customer probally hit the lock button and now the starter kill will not let it start with the key. We always make sure to unprogram the lock buttons on rs if we dont hook up the keyless part.

or you could just make sure to program security off, as opposed to unprogramming the lock button.....

i dont think the 125 comes with anti-grind/security  tho
