  • BLUE  (+) LOCK OUTPUT-----------------POWER  LOCK (ORANGE / white)(+)
  • GREEN (+) UNLOCK OUTPUT----------------POWER UNLOCK (pink/purple) (+)

Connect the wires shown above and solder the connections and tape up with electrical tape afterwards.

ok, in a install wiring thingy i found on the i-net, (shows all the different wires, locations, polarity, and colors) anyways, it says that a few wires i need to tap into are located in the "IGNITION HARNESS" where is the "ignition harness" located??
also, when i have to tap into some wires, such as the "parking lights (+) wire" once i find the wire, where on the wire should i tap into, closest to a fuse? farthest? does it matter?
and finally, i have a 3 wire harness that will be used to activate the door lock/unlock -- the intall booklet says "Warning, the door lock outputs are low current and should not be attached directly to any high current device; they are to be used to activate relays" how do i get the lock/ unlock to work? thanks

The ignition harness is what is attached to your key cylinder. You will need to remove the lower portion of the driver's side dash to access these wires. As far as attaching to ANY wires, it really doesn't matter where you tap into....try to find the easierst place to splice into where you will have lots of room to work with the target wire.

Go to this link: https://www.velocitymotorsport.com/install_notes/Converting_Outputs.jpg and use the POSITIVE INPUT-----POSITIVE OUTPUT diagram for the door locks. You will need 2 SPDT relays for this.

why do i need the 2 relays? i already have relays that control the lock/unlock when hit the switch in the car (were there already there) there are 2 relays that are already in the car for the lock/unlock purpose- 1 for Unlockl and 1 for Lock, both located in the fuse panel,

couldnt i jsut wire up the alarm out put to the "low current (+) input"? for both?
