Clifford 800IQ/Intellistart

Sorry in advance for the long post, but I want to give a bunch of info so that you guys might understand what I'm experiencing here.

Looking for a little advice. I've had the above mentioned system installed in my Suburban for years. To be accurate, I originally had a Intelliguard 400, and then upgraded to an 800 since I had removed it from another vehicle. Sometime shortly after that the truck would occasionally start on it's own for no apparent reason. Not good if it's in the garage of course.

Anway, it got so bad that with the alarm/remote starter disconnected, all I'd have to do is plug it in and the truck would start. I figured a relay was stuck or something but didn't have time or inclination so I just pulled fuses and forgot about it.

Trying to get it going again now and after doing some checking, found that I had wired in a second siren because it was already there from the previous alarm. When I was checking voltage at the alarm connector, I found 11.xx volts at that pin. Seemed odd and I didn't really need that siren (not sure it was ever working) so I just snipped that wire. Well after getting it out of valet mode etc. I started testing and seemingly had everything working properly. I disconnected the alarm to get everything wrapped up and when I unplugged it, the truck started. Now does that seem normal? Seems to me that the output to the starter would just be floating at that point and shouldn't go low enough to pull-in the relay but maybe I'm wrong on that. I guess that I could just replace the relay on the board and see what happens.

Thoughts?
