Hello, on the data cable there's a circuit board with a two wire female plug coming out of one end; can anyone tell me what the two wire female plug is used for? Dose this have to be hooked up before I can get online? It won’t connect with my alarm now.posted_image I have the Intelliguard 9000 with intellistart 4

That plug is indeed for powering the control unit if doing benchtop programming.  If the alarm is installed and powered up it is not needed for programing.  By the way the alarm does need to have power on the red 18ga wire to be recognized by cliffnet as well as the intellistart.
