Iwant to put a alarm/remote starter in my car. I've seen this note pop up on a few sites:
NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMP TO START THE VEHICLE WITH THE STARTER WIRE CUT IT MAY POP THE AIR BAG. DO NOT INSTALL A STARTER IMOBILIZER
Does this mean I can't use the starter didable feature on the alarm??
Thanks

That would be a great feature. Thief gets in car with alarm on, jams screwdriver into ignition and turns it....BAM....airbag to the face. You come walking out to the car and find the guy knocked out in your drivers seat. Proceed to give the scumbag another beating and then call the cops.

What company's tech sheet has that warning? DEI doesn't mention anything special about it

2 nd ignition wire will need a relay ( unless the unit that your installing has built in relays for this circuit ).
the door lock system is tricky. go here for more info:https://www.bulldogsecurity.com/wires/images/toysafelock.htm
NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMP TO START THE VEHICLE WITH THE STARTER WIRE CUT IT MAY POP THE AIR BAG. DO NOT INSTALL A STARTER IMOBILIZER
There Are Mulitple RED / White Wires Near The Fuse Box. Some Will Work Individual Doors Only. Test With A Meter To Identify The Single Wire That Reacts To All Doors.
For Dome Light Supervision, Use One Of The Individual Doors.
Alternate tach wires : YELLOW /GREEN OR RED / BLUE AT IGNITION COILS

That's kinda funny actually.  Someone probably cut the wrong wire for the starter kill
