Hey everone, just installed an astrostart 4204 in a '04 2 door pickup. I used the IM- HDT module. When I perform the keyless takeover the doors lock and the indication on the remote says that they're still unlocked. :errr:Any ideas? Thanks in advance

could it be programing? I don't have the programming guide handy.

the remote only remembers the last lock/unlock command you sent with it, it doesn't monitor the position of the locks. When the key takes over, its the car that is locking the doors, not the rs. If the Truck has the programming on the steering wheel, turn off the ignition locks, or set them for lock with speed. problem solved.

the doors lock when I select the start button, while the truck is running with the key in. I believe the RS is sending the lock command. I'll check the factory system programing( you said do it from the steering wheel on the gm?) Thanks for help
