trying to install a Micro Start C2003 on a 2000 Chevy S10. I have all of the alarm connections made I am just trying to get the remote start to work but having trouble. I used these instructions https://catchacall.com/vatts.htm , and I am wondering on what setting do I use on the ohm meter. This is not my first install using these instructions, but I can't remember how I did the last one. I do infact have the primary ignition as well as the second ignition (which is ran through a relay) all connected. The only thing that I don't have that may be my problem is the factory disarm wire; because he does not have a factory alarm. Anyway my problem is that when you remote start it, it cranks but doesn't start; so I have heard that this is caused by the Passlock II. Anyway that is why I am here asking for help. Thanks

should be a ORANGE / blk and yellow wire for passlock on that truck,if your not sure pop off the colum covers and follow the wires to the ign switch, then cut the yellow and put your red meter lead on the key switch side yellow and strip the orange blk wire and put black lead on that, put truck in reverse and turn switch to the start position and read value, make sure it is very close within 5 percent then put the one end of the resistor on the yellow wire going into the car not the switch and the other end to the orange /black and your done tap up the other end of the yellow coming from the switch hope this helps

Do it right.............If you are NOT going to use a ByPass ( like the OMEGA ..DB-PASS-23A ) and choose to Hardwire it,........Put a SPDT Relay in and use the resistor & Vehicle wires.

Well I just broke down and bought a bypass module; Bulldog Security part # 791. Now with this I am having a few problems, it says to connect the BLUE wire to the center  WHITE wire on the 3-pin harness of the remote starter or the WHITE wire on the 16-pin harness of the remote starter marked ignition negative. Also it says to attach the WHITE wire to large WHITE ignition wireon the remote starter. Those two are confusing me right now.

In the back of the instructions it gives the pin outs: Pin #2 BLUE = Ignition Negative Trip. Pin#6 WHITE = Ignition Positive In
