Greetings everyone. I'd like to know if anyone has come across some sort of interference when trying to lock/unlock and/or remote start your car. I have a Clifford RSIII. I have posted a similar message, and by the way thank you for your replies guys, but it hasnt solved my issue. Do I need to replace the antenna with the ones that came with the RS Matrix 3.5? Can Wi-Fi or other car alarm systems know to jam DEI systems? Radar jammers? Thank to all for taking the time.

well obviously anything running full stream on the exact same frequecy will cause an RF blanket if you are in the same proximity... does it work fine at one location but not at another? consistently?

i have also see issues with the vehicle generating a blanket while running, but work fine when not running.... fixing a problem like that is pretty much trial  and error....

It does work in one location but not another. an example, system does not work in the parking lot of our complex but it works when we go to the mall or other shopping areas. It also failed when we were out in the country. I'm still a novice but can you explain the term
'blanket"? is there anything i can do to remedy this? Thank you kevin.

i just refer to this rf "shield" as an RF blanket.... there could be another device at that same location already broadcasting full stream ( as opposed to busrting like your starter remote does)... this will occupy that frequency and not allow your remote to work.... Wireless TV antennas, etc can cause this problem.... or a locked starter antenna.....

if it also failed out in the country i would suspect a bum antenna or antenna cable......
