Well I've been out of the loop for quite awhile and I'm not quite sure what the decent brands/models are anymore.  I'm looking for a decent remote start/alarm.  Almost got the Omega Max but was told it was crap??? Anyone else have any models they prefer.  This is going on a 2000 Honda CRV with OEM keyless (it's my 3rd car and doesn't need the top of the line stuff).

I have omega max on my car for almost a year now and i know a few other people who have them and it is not crap at all. it is a descent unit and remotes work great.the psyren as omega calls it sounds better then all the other multitone syrens out there and it has a dual colored led (RED / green).
think again its not a bad unit.

well after digging around I believe I'm going to toss on my old Excalibur Gold 1800 ATV (omega eg-1800atv) as soon as I purchase a transmitter for it.  Might as well use one I already own.  I have heard about the psycho siren (psyren) and wonder if I can just toss this onto my eg1800???  I've got the wiring diagrams for the vehicle ('00 CRV) from this site :) and as soon as there's a decent day I plan on installing it.  Anyone know of any pitfalls I need to look out for?
