I am installing a Viper 160xv into a 1997 Buick park ave. I have 2 questions.

1) Do i really have to go into the doors for the locks, or are the wires accessable in the DKP door harness or just somewhere in the DKP?

2) The customer wants trunk release.... the vehicles trunk release is negative, as is the 200mA 2nd channel output of the Viper... should i just use the 2nd channel output wire from the viper and hook it straight to the trunk release wire of the vehicle?

Thanks!!!

You could use the OMEGA:

GM Passkey 3 & Passlock 2 Override Interface (DB-PASS-23A)

Also ....the Trunk is NEGATIVE Pulse and a lot of installers hook directly to it, but the Manufacturer recommends a Relay......
