Can anyone suggest a 2-way remote start unit that has no LCD, just the leds for status?  I sorta want to keep it simple.  (Translation, blond wife)  I'd like for them to control 2 vehicles.

Best I've seen thus far is the Autostart AS-2300 which has a nice simple remote and seems simple to operate.  Has anyone worked with those?  If so, how does the user know the status of the vehicle?

Thanks in advance!

Crimestopper has a remote with led indicators like you describe.I think it's their CS999TW1 model.

autostarts are not all that bad... I just installed 2 of them. I dont like the fact that they have only negative triggers for the door locks.... other than that, They seem pretty good.

I also like the Crimestopper RS-999TW1 and use it in my 1997 Grand Cherokee.  Just make sure you get teh NEW system.  Crimestopper had a problem with the older ones, but the newer ones all have upgraded Transceiver and antenna kits.  The range is great too.
