hey, i just bought a viper 3000, and i when i hooked the parking light flash (RED / black wire with blue plug), it flashes to the front flashers, nicely, but it flashes the rear brake lights, and the dash lights as well. I'd love for it to only flash the turn signals all around, and leave the dash lights and brake lights alone. Is there a any other place I can tap into to do this?

with the first click of the switch the brake lights, front turn signals, and the  gauge(said dash before, sorry) lights come on. If i arm/disarm/set off the alarm those are the lights that come on. I don't like that the gauge and brake lights come on. I was wondering if there was a wire I could tap into to make it flash on the turn signals in the front and back. sorry for the trouble, but it will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

The parking light flash IS connected to the dash lights on this car........

You have it connected properly......

Sorry to sound annoying, but is there any other wire I could tap in to that wouldn't flash the gauge lights?

nope because the dash lights come on whenever the headlights are on and if the parklights are on

you could turn the dimmer switch down so the dash lights don't light up

oh, ok thanks. Now I'm wondering if i could hook up the horn honk feature without getting another relay. Is the horn driven by a relay or is it just switch. my alarm says it can put out a negative 200mA output for this, is it possible to hook it up without buying a relay? I don't really care for the horn honk, so if I have to get a relay I just wont hook it up. Thank's in advance.

You won't need a relay for the horn honk.  Just take the trigger wire and hook it up to the horn trigger at the steering column.

if you want the lights to flash like your four-ways (hazards) you'll need to get your turn signal wires from the flasher unit under the dash and diode isolate each to prevent all of them from flashing when you use your turn signals. It's really a big pain and not worth the trouble in most cases.
