Im having a problem programming my bypass module.. I followed all the instructions.. 1. question I have is that this bypass is a GM Passlock 1,2 & Vats It has 2 jumpers and indicates that one is for the Passlock 1 and the other for passlock 2. Do I Leave the jumper off since its a Vats system? Is the Vats wires along the column in a orange cover w/ 2 white wires in it? b/c I found those and now have the Data Output wire one one of them and tried it on both wires neither works.. I have my megative ground out wired straight to a ground. Do both of the wires some how have to be wired up..??I am working on the car now..:errr:

I'm not familiar with that bypass, but i can tell you the two wires you describe are the VATS wires. I've never used anything but a resistor and a relay to bypass VATS, it's just too easy.....

Well how can I measure the resistance from the key I have to do it like that

It's pretty easy. See the chip mounted in the key near the head? Use a meter and read it. Have someone esle hold the key or put it in a vise to make it easier. One probe on one side, the other on the opposite. Then just find a resistor with the same resistance. You then need to wire up a relay to shoot that resistor from one white wire to the other when the starter activates.

DO I multiply the 2 numbers to get the value of the resistor to use..????
