Hey guys, I'm installing a Proximity sensor on a 550esp viper alarm,  just wondering how to do it right, I'm not sure if I should just jumper Proximity sensor to the main shock sensor, IF I do this , I heard you have to put a DIO between the green and blue wire so that it thinks it has its own address,  what size of a dio do i put on  or how do I connect it to the (-)neg multiplex  blue wire on this 550esp,  to the sensor, does anyone one have a diagram?

All you need to do is piggyback the appropriate wire ( pre-warn and/or full trigger ) and use a 1N4001 1 amp diode inline of the target wire. Determine what the polarity of the trigger wire is and install the diode band accordingly.

They should have them. They are common components so you shouldn't have any problems finding ithem.
