Use a pulse timed relay (DEI #528T). Adjust to stay active 5-10 sec. longer than the wait to start light.

This is the only diesel...where I agree in using the pulse timer.....its a finicky system, can wait up to 20 seconds when its cold. and less than 10 when warm.
