Hello I Am having a problem with the yellow/black wire I don’t know where to connect it to the instructions says
“Thin yellow/black wire: it sense wire for success of starting it’s connected to sense wire of electrical machine. How to find it out? It’s in the orifice of wires output of cars electrical machine, which is in the engine room. First place the transmission gear in neutral position, and turn key to “NO”. Second, check out the negative wire (3-4v output), and start the car then check again if this wire will turn to the output is 12V DC. It’s right. Please connect it to the thin yellow/black wire.”
Would I be connecting it to the accessory wire? the car is a 1989 cavalier z24

this is not a "horror story" its just a question if they put more time into the manual these alarms would be good

The horror is the way those instructions were written, if that's exactly how they were given- pretty cryptic and funny at the same time!
engine room? electrical machine? on a motorcycle? eh?

Actually, is this maybe an Altavista translation from another language? It has all the characteristics of their computer generated translations..

Do the instructions say anything about any kind of learning procedure for the tach input? The Scytek I have needed an initial setup to sample the input frequency when the engine's running at idle to determine the correct threshold to use when remote starting.
If you can check the tach input signal you're using, maybe it only has a 5V amplitude, and that Thor unit might need a larger swing to sense, like 12V. Any fuel injector signals you could access to try out?
Just speculating, don't know any specifics about the Thor.
